My journeys in South Korea…
How is all started…
Okay soooo, back in May 2021 I saw God sow a stitch into my heart and then He stretched that thread all the way to Asia. Now at this time I didn’t know much about Asian countries, expect through friends and family members, nor did I have a heart for Asia. My heart was in Brasil.
So I said to God, “Father if You want to send me there, You’ll need to grow my heart please, because it’s not there”.
Fast forward to April 2024, I’m now standing with the option to go back to Brasil for mission this summer… I sensed while God would bless my time there BUT that there was actually something more He wanted for me. It wasn’t until I sat down and asked “okay Lord if not Brasil where”???
Then He told me to be brave, to which I responded “be brave for what Lord”???
Oh boy did I need that word, because a few days later He answered my questions of what and where through different words and images.
I wept. I wept at the magnitude of what God was saying to me, the realisation that I would be leaving for extended periods of time, the time I would be spending away from family AND what He was actually asking me to do…
I wept. I surrendered and then received joy in knowing His will for me. Now its time for me to pick up my cross and follow Him into waters unknown…
He wanted me in Asia.
January - March 2025
I believe it was in September or October, in the middle of a very hard season God told me He wanted me to go to South Korea in the new year. In that moment I weep, that in the midst of a battle God would still want to call and send me out as His ambassador.
Not knowing the what and the how, covered in battle scars (spiritually), I said yes to God, trusting Him with all the unknowns of this trip.
A trip to make connections with the church, people who want to go deeper with God and those who don’t know Him or have lost their way. A trip truly saying I am Lord, my hands are here and ready to go to work…
Hebrews 13:20-21 ESV
“Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.”
