Sweet fellowship
This month was filled so much quality fellowship with people. I am continually walking with God in just being my self and it is truly a blessing to be surrounded by people who are just glad to be with me. Lots a laughter this month!

Endings and beginnings
God has been doing many new things at the base and one of them is calling us into new ministries with Him. We said goodbye to two ministries and hello to many new ones.
God called me to join and be apart of some new ministries, which I am very excited about! Also during outreach in February, God spoke to me about calling His artisans to rise up. When I returning back to the base, with the heart I received from God, I spoke with a few other people and they too had similar hearts. I am now leading the new Creative arts ministry, a place where people can grow in their skills and crafts God has skilled them with, where people can also come to learn and be taught and a place where we support each other to release this creativity He has given us out into the world…

A tear filled birthday
This year my birthday was difficult to celebrate, I was overwhelmed with grief that truly surprised me. I did share at first and cried and felt better, however that relief I felt was short lived. I felt myself being pulled into a dark hole, filled with hopeless tears. I then spoke to my base leaders and poured out my heart and I’m so glad I did because I truly received comfort. So now I can say even when I felt the depths of sadness, the truth that Jesus loves me held me so tightly. Truly, He loves me and I'm so grateful that He loves all of me, even when I struggle to find joy. Later my friends took me out for dinner and ice cream by the beach, gradually my joy returned as they allowed me to just people and were simply happy to just be with me.
Thank you so much to all the people here and at home who made that week week beautiful, I love you all deeply, thank you for loving me too x

Loosing joy…
Life without joy for 2 weeks… A place I don’t want to visit again. After my birthday God revealed a root in my life that I had quite literally build most of my life on.. It was a lie that effected almost every are of my life and how I saw myself. When the root came up, so too did some rather ugly emotions that I did not enjoy feeling. My mistake, was focusing on this root that God was removing and not focusing on God Himself. As a result, found myself without joy as I struggled with these emotions that made me feel as though I was being suffocated. I took my eyes off of my joy and life, Jesus Christ.

Dreambuilder NK camp
Not the end, but the beginning. While I was unable to join for this camp, many people from our YWAM base joined. This camp was for North Korean defectors, some who made escaped with their parents at a young age and some who were born shortly after their parents arrived in South Korea. South Korea can still at times be hostile to NK defectors, but it is our heart and the heart of many for the two to become one once again. This camp was for the young people to have the opportunity to just be young people and children. It they were able to open up and engage in a healthy way with their peers and learn about God. Truly we are praying that God will continue to stir their hearts and continue to shape them into the men and women of God He is calling them to be.

Shifting gears…
Things at the base have now sped p,. The DTS staff training is about to begin in July, with the new ministries we are now meeting more often with our different teams and I am allowing God to guide me through the many projects He has called me to do now. I praise Him because I don’t feel any pressure and I know this is where He has me right now. There is no burden and I feel light, even though my schedule is much fuller now.
Going into June…
I think this is the first time that i have ever really noticed the difference between two months. I felt it move from 31st of May to 1st June. I had started to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but was not quite there yet, but I knew God was about to move… I just didn’t know how.
June
The month of June! Oh how joy was restored, challenges are still ahead, but roots were ripped up, connections were made and things were set in motion.

Kingdom Impact seminar
This is the second week of the Kingdom impact seminar and it truly was amazing. Learning how to live under the tree of life, instead of living under the tree of knowledge of good and bad evil brings such a lightness to my walk with God. It is a reminder that I do not need to know anything, but stay with God and receive knowledge, wisdom, love, peace, comfort, grace and so much by simply being in His presence. I don’t need to do the ‘right’ thing, I just need to do what God wants me to do.
Truly refreshing, challenging and brings me to joyful repentance. Knowing that the land of God has carried my sins away and that I can now turn and walk anew with Him.
Also because this week was not in Gadeok or Busan, as staff we did not have to do a a lot in regard to hosting, hospitality and cleaning!

Joy restored
Joy truly came in the morning! Being without joy for just over 2 weeks made me realise that I really am a person with naturally joyful disposition. Why?.. because those two weeks felts like YEARS of not being myself. BUT with my eyes back on Jesus and not what He was removing from my life all of a sudden I could breathe again. Then God told me to look and wouldn’t you know He had removed that rotten root already and was place a new seed for it to grow and form roots. I really didn’t have to look at what He was doing at all, he had it all under control. I am so so so grateful that this didn’t last long. I can breathe again, I can laugh again and smile. I have joty with others now and it lasts and doesn’t leave quickly like before .

Busy but not overwhelmed
I have going myself in many different ministries and to be honest I’m not quite sure how I got here hahahahahha. I have though or maybe I need to come out of some, but I prayed and God told me He would help me and to stay put at least for now. This is exactly what I did and so as meetings started to be set in my calendar and things for me to do started to increase, I found that actually I still felt very free and light, not at all weighed down by the quantity. I know this is by God’s grace and I am also aware that the moment I attempt to do this without Him it will become heavy, so I am choosing to stay near to Him.

Family camping week!
After spending much time praying, breaking before God, growing in Him and answering His call, God spoke to out base leaders and said we needed time as a family to just play and have fellowship together. This is exactly what we did and oh what a fun time we had. Food, meat on meat, campfires, group games, water fights, bubbles, appreciation moments and late nights.
A fun time was had, sleep evaded me with all its might. Hahahaha
Partnering with me…
